Well suited to help a small to medium-sized business/office implement conference call system/cameras as well as full AV systems throughout your office.

For the more basic issues they do a good job correcting them. In my experience, for some of the more complex problems, it seems like they dont have enough tier 2 techs/engineers available to help troubleshoot with the techs that are at the site. In my experience the techs come on site and dont really know what the solution was at the end of the day. Seems like a lot of rebooting the system many times to finally get the system back up and running (temporarily). Our system may be different then others but that should hinder the support we get from AVI. I believe that our set up may be different than what they are used to seeing and it seems like it takes them all day to fix the issues and when asked what the fix is there isnt a whole lot that they point to. Again most of the time it is rebooting the devices and checking the Biamp. In my experience, I recall a time where they said "out engineering cant connect to the server we have (this is their equipment) The tech ended up giving up with the engineer who was trying to connect up to their system that is on site and there was no follow up regarding that connection that could not be made. I would have expected them to troubleshoot further but it takes them all day to get the rooms back in order since they aren't sure what is the issue I believe and then they don't want to troubleshoot the connectivity issue with the engineer after because it took so long to correct the original problem in my opinion.

We've gone through a few other A/V support organizations over the years. Our growth and needs have greatly changed. Prior A/V partners proved to be severely lacking in capability. It felt like playing whack a mole with snuffing out issue after issue rather than addressing the root cause of issues. Since working with AVI SPL, the number of issues we've faced have dropped immensely.

Very good in USA and not so good globally for VC equipment

AVI is good for multi-projects with a national footprint. As one of many parts of a new construction project, it is very helpful to make one call and know it will get done correctly. They can be a bit more expensive, but you generally get what you pay for and I appreciate their consistency and ease to work with.

When we have an issue for AV system, AVI-SPL resolve the issue very quickly. On the other hand, when I place an order for an project, due to the labor limitation, we needed to wait for several weeks to complete it.

If we have equipment that fails sometimes it takes too long to have new equipment ordered and installed by AVI-SPL. Our conference rooms are a priority and sometimes it takes a month from time an issue is reported to when it fixed to have resolution. I think adding techs and planning would help. Basically we need better turn around time on issues

I have worked with Greg M. for years and Greg and his team have always provided exemplary service in whatever was asked of them. I can't think of any other team in the industry that I've worked with who provide better and more consistent customer service than the team we work with at AVI-SPL.

Kerry and Brian are the two folks in the service department with whom we've experienced the highest consistency and most success.

I only use AVI-SPL for box sales. My team installs the equipment. They are well suited for this. They frequently provide the best pricing.

AVI-SPL does a great job when our conference rooms break and malfunction. I feel like their response time and attention to detail on the service of our rooms is great.

AVI-SPL seems to not prioritize smaller/express projects and the transition from ADTECH systems to AVISPL was slow and clunky. Project timelines were dramatically longer than they should have been.

Consistency of project delivery always provides confidence in getting the job done.

When you know what you want and how it should be done, they can be an asset. However, you still need to have a PM staff that can do the follow-up and verify execution, as I have found them short-cutting some things. If you don't know what you want or how to get it done, then they will do what they want and you may not get what you need.

AVI-SPL was a super easy company to work with to meet our electronic and accessory needs to support our processes. I value their customer service experience, and always trying to work hard to coordinate what I need. I had a changing order based on management feedback, and they were able to give me different quotes and options right away, which met my needs.

I had a very difficult AV projection project and AVI-SPL worked with Epson to help identify the correct solution and then promptly was able to process my purchase and ship the equipment to my place of my business in perfect working order.

AVI-SPL does a great job on classrooms and conferencing spaces and will take in to consideration existing devices and infrastructure.

Purchasing equipment from AVI-SPL is perfectly seamless. They do so much more than just box sales but I think they do this better than most large equipment vendors. Due to us having our own internal team we're less inclined to use AVI-SPL for design & installation work but if/when we need help AVI-SPL is the first and only partner we call.

I would like to thank Elissa F. who is always very responsive and thorough with her assistance. She is very professional and her knowledge of the service we needed was excellent. Please give kudos to the worker who showed up, I forgot his name but it was his birthday and he was a very hard worker.

Conference room setups and broadcast quality equipment were the areas we had excellent experience with. We had no negative experiences at all!

The best situation for AVI is to outfit a room with the appropriate audio visual needs. They can acquire, install and support all hardware and software aspects of it.
When there are issues though it is sometimes hard to get a tech onsite in a reasonable time as they are very busy and book out quickly.

Extremely well suited for large enterprises that have multiple sites that need on-going support. Can be slightly more expensive in situations where they do not have a local office or installer, as they will facilitate with a local vendor and then add a % to the invoice. If you are moving a small volume of products or have a single project you may be better suited going with a smaller boutique firm.

Well it's been 16 months since the project started, we have removed the project manager from the project after speaking with management. We are still waiting for the project to be completed.

AVI-SPL did a great job of helping us identify the equipment we needed to solve our telehealth needs and providing complete installs.

AVI-SPL are well suited for large AV project buildouts but not suitable for small projects.
